Menanggapi sejumlah kandidat kuat pengganti Dudung sebagai KSAD, Anggota Komisi I DPR Dave Laksono menilai tiga kandidat pengganti Kepala Staf Angkatan Darat (KSAD) Jenderal TNI Dudung Abdurachman merupakan perwira mumpuni dalam menjalankan tugas. Ketiga nama itu adalah Kepala BNPB Letjen TNI Suharyanto (Akmil 1989), Pangkostrad Letjen TNi Maruli Simanjuntak (Akmil 1992), dan Wakasad Letjen TNI Agus Subiyanto (Akmil 1991).
“Ada sejumlah nama yang beredar dan mereka itu semua adalah perwira yang mumpuni dalam menjalankan tugas dalam tubuh TNI,” ujar Dave kepada media, Rabu (26/7/2023).
Meski begitu, Dave mengingatkan bahwa jabatan KSAD memiliki tugas yang besar. Selain itu, KSAD juga memiliki tanggung jawab untuk membina prajurit TNI hingga merawat alutsista.
“Siapa pun itu yang ditugaskan untuk menjabat sebagai KSAD, memiliki tugas dan tanggung jawab yang besar dalam mengemban tugas dan tanggung jawab membina prajurit, memelihara alutsista serta memodernisasi sistem TNI AD,” terang Politisi Fraksi Partai Golkar ini.
Kepala Staf Angkatan Darat (KSAD) Jenderal TNI Dudung Abdurachman diketahui akan memasuki masa purnabakti. Adapun masa purna baktinya yaitu pada 19 November 2023 mendatang. •hal/rdn
