Baru-baru ini terjadi aksi kampanye LGBT oleh sebuah grup band asal Inggris, The 1975, saat konser di Malaysia pada Jumat (21/7/2023). Dalam aksi panggungnya, sang vokalis, Matty Healy juga mengkritik pemerintah Malaysia terkait larangan LGBT.
Dengan adanya aksi band luar negeri itu, Anggota Komisi I DPR RI Sukamta meminta kepada Pemerintah Indonesia untuk lebih tegas lagi melarang kampanye LGBT. Sehingga, kejadian seperti di Malaysia tidak terulang di Indonesia.
“Kita minta pemerintah RI terus secara tegas melarang kampanye perilaku LGBT dengan segala bentuknya,” ujar Sukamta kepada media, Selasa (25/7/2023).
Dalam hal LGBT ini, menurut dia, bangsa Indonesia sudah begitu toleran dengan memperlakukan kaum LGBT seperti warga negara biasa dan dipenuhi semua hak-haknya. Karena itu, dia pun memperingatkan kepada kaum LGBT agar tidak melakukan kampanye secara terang-terangan.
“Kita ingin agar mereka tidak melakukan dengan terbuka dan tidak kampanyekan perilaku tersebut. Sebagaimana warga negara lainnya juga menjadikan urusan seksual sebagai kehidupan privat,” ucap Politisi Fraksi PKS ini.
Sebelumnya, Band The 1975 membuat kegaduhan di Malaysia saat hari pertama penyelenggaraan acara musik Good Vibes Festival pada Jumat (21/7/2023). Dua personel The 1975 berjenis kelamin laki-laki berciuman di atas panggung. Kedua personel tersebut yakni sang vokalis Matty Healy dan pemain bas Ross MacDonald. Sontak saja aktivitas cabul itu membuat kegaduhan.
Setelah melakukan perbuatan tersebut, The 1975 dilarang tampil di Malaysia. Meski begitu, band beranggotakan empat orang itu tak langsung kembali ke negara asalnya, Inggris.
The 1975 juga sempat dijadwalkan manggung di Indonesia, tepatnya di acara musik We The Fest yang digelar di GBK Sport Complex, Jakarta pada Ahad (23/7/2023) kemarin. Namun, akhirnya jadwal manggungnya di Indonesia juga dibatalkan. •hal/rdn
