Anggota Komisi VII DPR RI Mukhtarudin meminta pemerintah agar segera melakukan upaya untuk mengatasi kelangkaan tabung elpiji 3 kg (gas melon) yang belakangan terjadi di sejumlah daerah.
“Pemerintah harus memetakan wilayah yang saat ini mengalami kelangkaan elpiji 3 kg, maupun faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya kelangkaan tersebut. Sehingga ada upaya untuk mendistribusikan elpiji 3 kg tambahan ke tiap wilayah tersebut. Tentu bekerja sama dengan Pemda setempat,”ungkap Mukhtarudin dalam siaran persnya, di Jakarta (24/7/2023).
Selain itu, Politisi dari Fraksi Partai Golkar ini juga mendorong PT. Pertamina memastikan distribusi gas elpiji 3 kg sesuai dengan jumlah dan harga yang telah ditetapkan. Pasalnya, gas LPG 3 kg ini merupakan produk subsidi atau public service obligation (PSO). Oleh karenanya, distribusi yang dilakukan juga sesuai kuota yang ditetapkan Pemerintah.
Meski demikian, ia tak memungkiri pola distribusi gas melon yang terbuka seperti sekarang ini memungkinkan terjadinya kasus salah sasaran, atau tidak tepat sasaran.Terutama pada tingkat end user. Misalnya mereka yang tidak berhak, justru turut membeli gas melon. Bahkan tidak sedikit di lapangan, orang kaya membeli LPG 3 kg dengan menggunakan mobil.
Padahal sudah jelas, bahwa gas melon hanya diperuntukkan bagi orang miskin dan usaha mikro. Tapi kenyataannya, banyak juga orang mampu dan restoran besar yang menggunakan gas melon.
“Nah, kondisi tidak tepat sasaran ini yang sering menjadikan gas melon langka. Jatah yang seharusnya dipakai orang miskin justru dibeli orang kaya. Orang kaya bisa membeli sekaligus 2-3 tabung, tapi orang miskin tidak bisa,” tambah Politisi asal Daerah Pemilihan Kalimantan Tengah.
Sebagaimana diberitakan, di sejumlah wilayah Indonesia belakangan terjadi kelangkaan gas elpiji 3 kg. Kelangkaan terjadi seperti di wilayah Kalimantan, Banten, dan beberapa wilayah lainnya, seiring dengan meningkatnya permintaan terhadap elpiji 3 kg tersebut. •ayu/rdn
